At the forefront of public and private environmental initiatives, working efficiently with all levels of government, including diplomatic binational collaboration. Highly regarded for unwavering commitment for environmental justice, advocating the need for improved policies, and accountability driven procedures. Extensive understanding of integrated resource management, environmental restoration and scientific principles of sustainability.

QUALIFICATION HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Advanced Environmental Project Management expertise and strong influence skills; established hundreds of remediation and restoration project partnerships with government, industry and private citizens;
  • Extensive experience in Great Lakes restoration, led multiple contaminated site assessments, human health and ecological risk assessments including complex site remediation projects.
  • Spearheaded communication and engagement strategies for the Niagara River Area of Concern. Developed image rebranding through new website development, including content revitalization, document updates, factsheets and call to action strategies;
  • Advanced political awareness, led the development of the Lyons Creek Contaminated Sediment Administrative Protocol, unique to Ontario. Extensive understanding of governmental procedures;
  • Managed multiple strategic planning initiatives, including the development of multiple Watershed Plans and the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority Restoration and Water Quality Improvement Program;
  • Complex problem-solving skills, instrumental in the negotiations of a 3-million-dollar restoration agreement with Ontario Power Generation, for the mitigation of Welland River flow reversal / fluctuations;
